STEVE MCCURRY

So honored and happy to have met the amazing legendary visual storyteller, inspirator, photojournalist Steve McCurry. A meet and greet was a great opportunity to have his beautiful lifework book "Iconic Photographs" signed by the author himself. I love his work; all his inspirational and colorfull photos  of stunning wanderlust natural landscapes and portraits of all cultures of the world are a true work of art. Steve McCurry captures the essence of human struggle and joy. His well-known work has been published in every major magazine in the world and frequently appeared in National Geographic, with articles on India, Tibet, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen , Cambodja etc, , etc.. McCurry is most famous for his photo in 1985 of the green eyed Afghan girl on the cover of National Geopgraphic.  Steve McCurry has been recognized for his work and courage with some of the most prestigious awards in the industry of finest photographers of the world. Recently he has been awarded for the Centenary Medal of Lifetime Achievement at the 2014 Royal Photographic Society.
