 Last sunday Milagros Mundo enjoyed true bliss. We had a Indian cooking class from Papa Masala. Papa Masala is an traditional Indian caterer, run by the Taneja family; Suzan, Ruben and Subash. The cooking class took place at their lovely residence where we properly got introduced with the Indian kitchen and their traditions. Together we prepared a lovely Indian vegetarian brunch. The story telling about traditions, history and sharing there family recipes made the Papa Masala cooking class a true experience! Looking forward to their next cooking class in december ♥

Divine art

 So honored! Milagros Mundo received a beautiful treasure gift from the Haveli artists themselves. A divine Haveli artwork, a colorful patchwork of altar photographs by Subash Taneja, within sixteen mini temples with Hindu gods each temple handcrafted and decorated by Hanneke Taneja.

New arrivals for treasure hunters only! ♡ Prachtige kunstwerken van Haveli. Gemaakt van gerecyclede luciferdoosjes. Het zijn kleine tempeltjes die tot in de detail met veel liefde gemaakt zijn door het kunstenaars echtpaar Hanneke en Subash Taneja. Voornamelijk geïnspireerd door het kleurrijke spirituele India is elk altaartje uniek en prachtig gedecoreerd en voorzien met een mini Boeddha-, mini Ganesha- of mini Maria beeldje. Met de liefde voor India van Hanneke en de Indiaase roots van Subash reist het kunstenaars echtpaar regelmatig af naar India voor inspiratie. Hanneke verzameld decoratie materiaal en Subash fotografeert. Het prachtige decoratie materiaal en beeldmateriaal word vervolgens op een zeer artistieke wijze verwerkt in de grote en kleinere Haveli kunstwerken. Zo heeft ieder tempeltje haar eigen verhaal. De mini-tempeltjes zijn niet alleen kunstwerken. Het zijn doosjes vol hoop, geluk en geloof voor in je huisaltaar om een kaarsje bij te branden of als cadeau om iemand te verblijden en een hart onder de riem te steken. Een bijzonder origineel cadeau met prachtige symboliek en cadeautip voor de feestdagen! ♥
