Starting with  dinner at  the last episode of  Kanen bij de Ten kate; outdoor summer Foodtruck pop-up market . Followed with our Movie Tip down the street at De Filmhallen. "CHEF" a culinary feel good road movie  filled with funky music about foodtrucks, salsa & cooking. The movie will be played at de Filmhallen, a venue of Cineville. Cinneville Art House theaters has opened The Filmhallen cinema today in our part of the town; Amsterdam West. Located at the old tram depot which turned into Tramremise hallen. ✰ "WELCOME TO THE TRIBE CALLED WEST!!!"✰   If you're in the mood for Latin tunes & Salsa dancing after the Movie Chef, there is the Latin Summer Breeze End of Season party at the WesterLiefde & Westerunie at Westergasterras with DJs and four live bands. Percussionist Gerardo Rosales is also coming with his live band and many of his music friends to celebrate his 50th Birthday at Summer Breeze . "BRILLIANCE OF ENLIGHTENED AWARENESS" 

This weekend the contemporary Tibetan artist Tashi Norbu  opened a new exposition called the "The Brilliance of Enlightened Awareness". The exposition was traditional ceremonial opened at the beautiful location the Nieuwe Yogaschool of Johan Noorloos in the Jordaan, Amsterdam. 

I love the work of Tashi Norbu. He is a brilliant painter with a unique style. Specialized in mixed media techniques, using mostly denim or canvas, his works are bright, colorfull, playful and spiritual. He calls his divine art " Aerodynamic Tibetan Contemporary Art ". Tashi Norbu fuses his Buddhist traditions and Tibetan culture with strong influences of the western art forms, western ideas and western icons of modern times. Originally Tashi is educated as a traditional thanka painter,at the court of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala,India. The principles of thangka painting are clearly visible in his contemporary artworks. The artworks of Tashi Norbu tell the stories of Tibetan Buddhist culture and traditions. But also shows modern life from a Buddhist point of view ♥

Last Sunday the 27th of July Milagros Mundo your local urban hippy lifestyle store was on location at  the Moderne Hippies "Get Together" at Roest Amsterdam. A true Hippy market experience. Milagros Mundo brought along treasures for true urban hippies and bohemian treasurehunters only! For creative hippy spirits we organized a D.I.Y. Dreamcatcher workshop. And Nasma Life joined forces for relaxing chair massages & delicious 100% Vegan sweet treats. Besides Milagros Mundo there were more workshops to do, treasure hunter shopspots & live music. A truly blessed sunny day filled with  Joy,Love, Peace and Hippy vibes !!!
