THE PANZI FOUNDATION

 

The Divine light in Darkness

 The Panzi Foundation is the lifework of Dr Dennis Mukwege‎ the renowned Gynaecologyst from Bukavu Congo who helped already over 40.000 Women and children all victims of rape and sexual violence. The Panzi Foundation not only helps with surgery and medical healthcare in the Panzi Hospital but also support the survivors to rebuilt their lives.  Even after an attempted assassination to Dr Mukwege his life still in danger  he continued helping all these women and children. 

Dr Mukwege is well known for fighting for Womenrights, Globalhealth, Human rights and fights against sexual violence. He has received manny awards like the Human Rights Prizes, Civil Courage Prize and the Sakharov Prize for the Freedom of Thought.  He has also 3 nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2015 he was awarded an Honorary Doctors of Laws by the Harvard University.

 Tonight there will be a Benefit Documentary evening showing his documentary " THE MAN WHO MENDS WOMAN ~ THE WRATH OF SOCRATES "  TONIGHT 19:00 @Cinetol Tolstraat 182 Amsterdam. This Charity event has been organised by IFMSA Medical Students of the UVA as part of  the week of International Women's Day.  Milagros Mundo has Donated for this evening & Sponsored funky & Fair Goodies for the Benefit Quiz for the Panzi Foundation earlier this week. 

The beautiful work of Dr Mukwege and the Panzi Foundation is a true light in the Darkness. He mended victims and touched manny lifes.

We congratulate Team #NietLullenMaarPoetsen of  Because we Carry for Sundays Charity achievement at the Benefit " Love Party " by Camping de Lievelinge at the wonderful location Blijburg aan Zee. We were proud to support this charity event with funky & fair Milagros Mundo Goodies for the Lottery. 

Because we carry is a volunteer project for refugees on the Island Lesvos. Founded by two yogi's , Steffi de Pous and Anna Smith, owners of Yoga school Sukha Yoga in Amsterdam. It all started almost 7 months ago by collecting Babycariers for refugee mothers carrying their infants on their long journey. They thought a few friends would donate a babycarier. But the word was spread and they ended with 1000 babycarriers. Arriving at Lesvos they realized that the refugees who arrived over sea needed more than a Babycarier.

They needed dry clothes and food. So now they have donated already over 5000 babycarriers. Because we carry provide primary aid, dry clothes, Bananas at arrival, a meal and tents. Because we carry is a devoted independ volunteer organization by Heart & Soul  ruined by Yogi's. 100% depend on donation. All helping hands & Donations are welcome.

Vollemaan Zegeningen

Deze Kerst op 25 December 2015 zijn we gezegend met een Volle maan. Een zeer bijzondere fenomeen omdat de laatste volle maan met Kerst in 1977 was. En de eerst volgende voorspelde kerst maan pas weer in 2034. Deze December Volle Maan de laatste van dit jaar staat in het teken van "Loslaten".  

Het jaar 2016 staat voor de deur. Tijd van bewustwording. Tijd om schoon schip te maken. En het verleden achter te laten. Om te kunnen beginnen met een frisse start. Afgelopen weekend stond Milagros Mundo met kleurrijke funky & Fair Xmas Goodies op locatie in de hallen op de Local Goods Market. We waren een deelnemer van de Kerst editie van Mik in West Pop-Up Shop. Een echte 'Local Brands Happening' om de lokale ondernemers en designers te supporten, onder het motto " BE LOCAL BUY LOCAL ." Aankomende week heeft Milagros Mundo ivm met Kerst inkopen speciaal aangepaste winkel openingstijden voor echte Xmas treasurehunters.
